Turtle Cruffins
Turtle Cruffins are made with crescent roll dough, caramel, pecans and chocolate chips for a bakery pastry that is so simple to make at home.

- 3 cans refrigerated crescent dough
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup pecans chopped
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375°.
Line a muffin tin with paper liners. Place muffin tin on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to catch any spills.
Open each can of crescent dough and unroll onto a clean surface. Press the seams together to make one large sheet per can.
Spoon and gently spread 1/3 cup caramel evenly over the dough.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Place liners in muffin tin.
Open each can of crescent dough and unroll onto a clean surface. Press the seams together to make one large sheet per can.
Spread 1/3 cup of caramel over each dough rectangle.
Sprinkle with 1/3 cup of pecans and 1/3 cup of chocolate chips over each rectangle.
Roll dough up from the short side.
Cut each roll into 4 slices.
Place into lined muffin tin.
Bake for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and cool 2- 3 minutes in the muffin tin. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
- Want extra gooeyness? Drizzle with more caramel right out of the oven.
- Make it nut-free: Swap pecans for crushed pretzels or leave them out altogether.
- Storage: Store cooled cruffins in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Warm in the microwave for 10–15 seconds before serving.
