Pulled Pork Fries

Pulled Pork Fries is a great sheet pan recipe that is easy to feed a hungry crowd. Oven fries topped with pulled pork, melted cheese and crispy bacon!

Ingredients

  • ½ pound pulled pork
  • ½ cup chipotle sauce or bbq sauce
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 2 pounds frozen french fries
  • cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Seasoning Salt
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • ¼ cup candied jalapenos
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°.
  • Add pulled pork to a skillet, cook over medium- high heat until pork starts to crisp. Add chipotle sauce or barbecue sauce and granulated garlic, stir until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Place fries on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and season salt. Toss until well coated and spread in an even layer.
  • Bake for 20 -25 minutes, turning about half way through, until crispy.
  • Remove from oven and top with shredded cheese, pulled pork and crumbled bacon.
  • Return to the oven for about 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with jalapenos and cilantro and any additional toppings that you prefer.

Notes

  • Optional Toppings: Sour Cream, Green Onions, GuacamoleSalsaPico de Gallo or Tomatoes.
  • Crispy Fries: We are making oven fries for this recipe but if you want super crispy french fries, you can deep fry them instead of baking. We went the healthier route and the results were delicious.
  • Storage: Pulled Pork Fries are best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1- 2 days.
  • Reheat: Place loaded fries on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper, baking at 350° for 8- 10 minutes or until heated through.
