- 2 cups cooked chicken thighs chopped or shredded
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded - divided use
- 2 cups monterey jack cheese shredded - divided use
- 1 can refrigerated crescent dough
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- ½ cup sour cream plus more for serving
- 7 ounces green chiles
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 16 ounces refried beans
- 2 cups Nacho Cheese Doritos crushed
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped for garnish

Preheat oven to 400°.
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, green chiles, and taco seasoning. Fold in the diced chicken until well coated.
In a 9×13 casserole dish, press the crescent dough into an even layer, pressing the seams together.
Spread refried beans over the dough, followed by half of the shredded cheeses.
Spoon the chicken mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top.
Crush the Doritos and spread them over the casserole.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Serve with fresh cilantro, salsa, sour cream and black olives.
- Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheating: To reheat, cover a baking dish with foil and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
- Variations: If you don’t have refrigerated crescent dough, substitute flour tortillas in a single layer or pizza dough.
