Cheez-It Snack Mix

Cheez-It Snack Mix is the ultimate party snack mix made with Cheez-It crackers, salty pretzels and mixed nuts with a tasty garlic ranch seasoning. Easy to make ahead to feed a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 24 ounces Cheez-It Crackers
  • 8 cups pretzels
  • 2 cups salted mixed nuts
  • 1 cup avocado oil
  • ¼ cup Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Add Cheez-Its, pretzels and mixed nuts to a large bowl.
  • In another bowl whisk together avocado oil, ranch dressing mix, garlic, onion flakes, pepper and cayenne.
  • Pour dressing over the cracker mixture, tossing to coat evenly.
  • Divide the snack mix onto 2 rimmed baking sheets and spread evenly.
  • Bake each pan for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and cool completely on the pan.
  • Store cooled snack mix in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • Make it Spicy - Add 2 tablespoons of chili flakes.
  • Nuts - Skip the nuts or use any variety that you like. Peanuts, cashews, pecans or walnuts are great options. Add extra pretzels, Chex cereal or oyster crackers in place of the nuts if desired.
