- 6 slices bacon
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup buttermilk
- 1 ½ tablespoons ranch dressing mix
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 14 ounces slaw mix (cabbage and carrots)
- 4 green onions sliced
Cook bacon until crispy in a pan or in the oven, drain on paper towels. Crumble or coarsely chop.
In a large mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, buttermilk and ranch dressing mix.
Whisk until well combined.
Add slaw mix, green onions and pepper, mix well.
Stir in bacon if serving immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Add bacon just before serving.
Variations:
Add shredded cheddar cheese and sliced jalapenos for a new twist.
Store leftovers in an airtight container up to 2 days.
