Ingredients
- 24 ounce Marinara
- 20 ounces frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- ½ cup parmesan cheese finely grated
- fresh basil optional for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce into a 9 x 9 casserole dish.
- Layer 1/2 of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
- Spoon half of remaining marinara over the ravioli.
- Sprinkle with 3/4 cup of shredded mozzarella.
- Repeat layers with remaining ravioli, marinara, mozzarella and finish with parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until pasta is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil and allow to rest about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Make it meaty: Add one pound cooked ground beef or sweet Italian sausage between layers if you like a heartier lasagna.
