  1. Cool Slightly & Serve: Let cool in the pan for about 2- 3 minutes. Use a sharp knife to loosen the edges of the cruffins from the pan. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.

Recipe Tips

  • Remove the cruffins while still warm – This prevents them from sticking to the pan as the caramelized sugars cool.
  • Use a baking sheet under the muffin tin – I also added a sheet of parchment paper between the muffin tin and baking sheet. The filling can bubble over, and this helps with easy cleanup.
  • Muffin Liners: Muffin liners can be used or a silicone muffin tin works well too. These cruffins are extra sticky and will stick to a metal muffin pan.

Recipe Notes

  • Storage: Store cooled cruffins in an airtight container or zip top bag in the refrigerator 2 – 3 days.
  • Reheat: Cook in a toaster oven or microwave until warm.

  1. I’m sorry, I’d like to see a video of how you actually cut the cinnamon roll to form 12 griffins. Are the fillers for each container of crescent rolls?
