  1. Drain and Dry Pickles: Drain the pickles and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps the batter stick better.

  2. Add oil to a heavy bottom skillet or dutch oven. Heat over medium-high to 350° using a deep fry thermometer.
  3. Dip pickles in batter and let excess drip off. Carefully place in hot oil, turning about every 30 seconds until well browned on both sides. Don’t crowd the pan, cook a small batch of 6-8 at at time.
  4. Use a slotted spoon to remove to a paper towel lined wire rack on a baking sheet to drain.

  • 32 ounces pickle slices dill pickles or bread and butter slices
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • ranch dressing for dipping

    1. i think seasoning sauce is a mistake and its supposed to be salt if you look in the directions you can see it there
