How to Make Easy Sloppy Joes
- Brown the ground beef
Add ground beef to a large skillet and cook over medium heat, breaking it up as it browns.
- Add the onion and bell pepper
Once the beef is mostly cooked, stir in chopped onions and bell peppers. Continue to cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add flour: Sprinkle the flour over the meat and veggies, stir to combine, and cook for another minute or two to get rid of the raw flour taste.
- Make the Gravy: Stir in the Lipton Onion Soup Mix, water, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Thicken and Simmer: Mix everything together and simmer for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Serve on buns: Spoon the sloppy joe filling onto sandwich buns and serve warm.
