  • Petit Jean Hickory Smoked Bacon – Crispy, smoky bacon adds the signature flavor to this easy appetizer.
  • Green Onions – Adds mild onion flavor that pairs perfectly with the creamy base.
  • Radishes – Adds a great crunchy texture, if you don’t like radishes, try chopped water chestnuts.
  • Mayonnaise – We are using Duke’s, use your favorite brand.
  • Sour Cream – Lightens up the mayo taste and adds creaminess.
  • Worcestershire Sauce – Adds depth of flavor and enhances the savory bacon flavors.
  • Ranch Dressing Mix – We use it so much that we buy the big canister – a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch works perfectly too.
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese – Use smoked cheddar if you want an extra smoky dip.

How to Make Bacon Cheddar Ranch Dip

  1. Cook the Bacon in the Oven: Cook bacon on a parchment lined baking sheet in the oven for 20 -25 minutes, until crispy. Drain on paper towels. Coarsely chop or crumble. Alternately, you can fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat, turning half way through. Cook until crisp.

  1. Prep the Veggies: Slice green onions and dice the radishes.
  2. Make the Dip: In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and ranch seasoning. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add the Good Stuff: Reserve a tablespoon each of green onions, bacon and cheddar to garnish the top. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, diced radishes, and chopped bacon. Stir to combine.

  1. Pour into a serving bowl and garnish with reserved toppings.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Petit Jean Smoked Bacon
  • 4 green onions sliced
  • ½ cup radishes diced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons ranch dressing mix
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
