  2. Season and Add Liquid: Sprinkle granulated garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper over the assembled layers. Top with pats of butter. Pour chicken broth over the top, using 1 cup if you prefer a thicker casserole or 2 cups if you would like it to be more soupy.
  3. Cook the Dish: Cover the skillet and place it over medium-high heat. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Continue cooking until the potatoes are tender and have absorbed the flavorful broth.

  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
