Slow Cooker Black Beans
Slow Cooker Black Beans cooked with a meaty ham bone for a delicious and comforting meal that takes little effort.

I have been spending every spare minute trying to get my accounting finished. It stresses me out, it is not my favorite thing to do by any means. So to avoid the added stress of dinner, I decided a slow cooker meal was in order. I went to digging around and found the dried black beans and it just so happened that I had a nice, meaty ham bone in the freezer.

Make sure you save the ham bone from your Easter ham and you will be all ready for a super easy and healthy meal. There’s so much flavor from that ham bone, and if you leave a little meat on the bone it makes this even better.

So next time you are short on time, remember that this recipe can totally save the day. It was a great big bowl of comfort after a long, stressful day.
