If you can’t get Kool aid (real hard to get in Canada) I swapped the koolaid, 4 cups water and the simple syrup With 2 cups of lime cordial from the dollar store and some food colouring to get the right shade of green.
Yummy!
Hi Sandy,
I had no idea that koolaid was hard to get in Canada! Great tips and thank you for stopping by to share them. Merry Christmas!

I don’t see how much of each ingredient in the alcoholic recipe.

Like Sandy mentioned lemon-lime kool-aid is not easy to find in Canada! However I did add lime cordial in place of it but I did have some lemon-lime kool-aid so I only used a very small bit of the Kool-aid (basically for colour but feel free to add some green food colouring) and maybe about a tablespoon or so of lime cordial in it and about 1/2 cup of pineapple juice and 1/2 cup of orange juice. I was only making one drink at a time. I prefer vodka so I would use 1 to 2oz of that but my wife likes it with white rum. I like to top it off with 7up or Sprite! Either way this is really good so thank you for sharing
Hi Paul,
So glad y’all enjoyed it, thanks for stopping by!

I have a quick question : ) the recipe ingredients call for 4 cups of water, but it doesn’t state “water” in the actual instructions. Is the 4 cups of water needed? Thanks!
Hi Dana,
I have that updated, the water goes in with all of the other ingredients.

How big of a pitcher is recommended and what would the serving amount be?
Hi Patrick,
A gallon size pitcher is best and I figure 8 ounce servings.

If I don’t have lime cordial or Kool aid, how many cups of Green hawaiann punch can I use?
Hi Margie,
4 Cups.
