Easy Marinara Sauce
Easy Marinara Sauce is a delicious recipe perfect for topping pasta, spaghetti squash, pizza and more. Made from fresh roasted tomatoes, garlic, onions and a special blend of seasonings. It’s super simple and incredibly delicious!
Spaghetti is on the menu at least once or twice a week at our house, either for lunch or supper. When it’s made with homemade marinara sauce, there’s never one bite left. Paired with a nice green salad and my easy garlic bread, this easy weeknight dinner is a snap.

Can you use canned tomatoes?
Roasted tomato sauce is one of my favorite ways to enjoy our garden fresh tomatoes and it makes an amazing base for this easy marinara sauce. If you do not have fresh tomatoes, start with canned fire roasted tomatoes that have been processed in a food processor until smooth.
How to Store Marinara Sauce:
Marinara sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Can You Freeze Marinara Sauce?
Marinara sauce can be frozen for up to a year if you are using vacuum sealed bags.
I would encourage you to make a whole batch of the Best Dry Rub, it adds the best flavor to this sauce. We seriously put it on everything from grilled meat, to popcorn to mac and cheese. You will want to keep it on hand all the time.
