If you are looking for a super easy chocolate frosting this classic Hershey’s Perfectly Chocolate Frosting is the answer. The taste and texture are the perfect compliment to chocolate cake and chocolate cupcakes.

I whip the butter for a buttercream type frosting, where the original Hershey’s recipe melts the butter for more of a ganache type frosting. Either way it’s easy and delicious and it is easy to get the consistency you prefer.

Skip the store bought frosting and make this homemade chocolate frosting in just 5 minutes with just 5 ingredients that you most likely have on hand. It’s perfect for birthdays and has the rich chocolate flavor that everyone will love.
