Step-by-Step Instructions for Crescent Muffins with Coconut

  1. Butter a muffin tin generously and set aside or coat with non-stick baking spray.

  1. Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface. Press 4 triangles together firmly to create 2 rectangular pieces of dough with each can of crescents.
  2. Slice each rectangle lengthwise into two strips.
  3. Spread each dough strip evenly with butter, then sprinkle generously with brown sugar, sweetened flaked coconut, and mini chocolate chips.
  4. Gently roll up each dough strip.
