- Chili ~ Without Beans – Homemade or Canned
- Picante Sauce or RoTel Tomatoes
- Green Onions ~ Optional Garnish

How to Make Velveeta Chili Cheese Dip
- Cut Velveeta into 1 inch cubes.
- Place Velveeta in a pan with chili and picante sauce.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring often until cheese is melted and dip just starts to bubble.
- Remove from heat.
- Garnish queso with green onions if desired and serve with tortilla chips or corn chips like Frito Scoops.

- Substitute for Velveeta: If you don’t like Velveeta, substitute 8 ounces of cream cheese and 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican cheese blend. Follow the same directions.

Ingredients
- 1 pound Velveeta Cheese
- 2 cups of chili or 15 ounce can of chili – no beans
- ½ cup picante sauce
- Sliced green onions optional garnish
- tortilla chips or Fritos for serving
Instructions

Only thing that I change is that I do use a well drained can of Ro-Tel in place of the picante sauce and sometimes I will add a splash of hot sauce.
Using the Mexican Velveeta cheese in place of the original is also wonderful

We love Velveeta, and this chili cheese dip was fantastic. The kids had some friends over, so we put it in a fondue pot to keep it warm, and it was gone so fast! They loved it.
